The Curly Method is a trend that is gathering more and more interest and acclaim from women with curly hair all over the world. The ZOE-T Research and Development Laboratories has joined this trend and launched its MY-CURLY METHOD line which was created with the aim of providing curly hair with maximum hydration to avoid the frizz typical of this type of hair and obtain naturally defined curls.To achieve all this it is essential that the products of these lines DO NOT contain:
Sulphates, Silicones, Parabens, Synthetic Waxes, Mineral Oils and Drying Alcohols.
This line is ideal for any type of curly hair, as it is formulated with multiple 100% natural ingredients that improve curl retention, control frizz and improve moisture resistance. Furthermore, these products can also be used by children as they help to define the natural curl, without changing the structure of the hair.
¿Why is this method important for curly hair?
The biggest problem with curly hair is that it tends to be dry and very frizzy. Very often it is due to the use of hair products with sulfates, surfactants that remove dirt from the hair and remove the natural oils that should instead nourish it.
As many people notice their hair drier, they turn to common masks and conditioners, which contain silicones that are insoluble in water, so they need very powerful agents, such as sulfates, to get rid of them. If we try to clean them with a sulfate-free shampoo, it will not remove them, but they will accumulate and the hair will start to look dull and without shine, sometimes even with manifestations of “seborrhea” or “dandruff”, without this being your problem.

How is my curly hair type determined?
The curl quality of the hair is determined by the shape of the hair follicle. Your Hedgehog is determined by genetics, it is in your DNA, the more oval the hair follicle is, the more the hair grows and becomes curly.
Curly hair is however subject to being altered by strong heat or chemicals.
How many types of curly hair are there?

Each Type is further divided into 3 sub-categories
“A” Light Curly
“B” Medium Curly
“C” Very Curly.
Type 2 | Open
Type 2 hair (A – B – C) is determined by loose and indefinite waves
that can become more wavy. It has a very large curl with an “S” pattern.
CHARACTERISTIC: Type 2 hair tends to frizz and tends to be flat
at the root. They reflect a slight sheen in the root area, losing luster going down to the length and tips. The sebum flows from the root to the ends of the tips with some interference.
Type 3 | Backed
Type 3 hair (A – B – C) can come in loose and elastic rings or
curls. Curls arise from the roots and have a large volume.
CHARACTERISTIC: Type 3 hair is believed to have a lot of body and volume, have a numerical density of hair higher than an average head. It is soft, tends to frizz when combed coarsely and is easily damaged. The sebum flows slowly from the root to the ends of the tips following its curly motion, which can lead to dryness. It tends to be shiny and has more shine than other curly hair types.
Type 4 | Closed
Type 4 hair (A – B – C) has a very dense look and comes with a
corkscrew, coil or zigzag ‘Z’ like motion.
CHARACTERISTIC: In Hair Type 4 the sebum has more difficulty flowing from root to tip, due to the very tight movement of its curl. As a result, this type of hair can be prone to extreme dryness. Type 4 hair is the driest and most prone to breakage and requires a delicate touch when styling and combing. When wet and dry, this type of hair has the wonderful ability to shrink up to 75% of its length.
Type 4 hair does not tolerate excessive manipulation and excessive heat. With the right precautions, this type of hair can be hydrated and healthy.

NORI COMPLEX | PORPHYRA ALGAE (RED ALGAE)
NORI COMPLEX is a marine active ingredient (PORPHYRA ALGAE – RED ALGAE) which contains amino acids, proteins and polysaccharides. Active ingredient of natural origin, the carob belongs to the Fabaceae family which includes herbaceous, shrub or tree plants. CAESALPINA SPINOSA, commonly called TARA. It grows spontaneously in the forests and in the Andean valleys, at an altitude between about 1000 meters and 3100 meters. Its fruits are flattened pods that contain 4 to 7 seeds. The 100% vegetable Endosperm seed consists mainly of Galactomannans. Galactomannans are high molecular weight polysaccharides that have a natural film-forming function, an excellent substitute for synthetic gelling agents. SILK TOUCH OIL | GRAPESEED OIL
GRAPESEED OIL is extracted from the seeds contained in grape berries (Vitis vinifera) previously dried: each grape contains four seeds inside.
From each grape seed it is possible to extract about 15% of oil rich in calcium, phosphorus, flavonoids and organic acids. The oil mainly contains a good dose of linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid rich in omega-6, a wellknown antioxidant and also has important anti-aging properties.
